For me, this has been a wasted year. Forget COVID, personal issues, and health. I haven’t been pulling my weight.

Technically, I had so many things breakdown or not perform correctly that I spent more time performing maintenance, looking for answers at Zen desks, and on the phone with support techs that couldn’t get their applications accepted at Walmart’s.

Aesthetically, I was lazy as all get out. I wasn’t chasing after developers, either software or hardware, to obtain review copies of their wares. And as far as opeds where concerned, I was too busy with the prior to even glimpse down that alley.

But towards the end of 2020, I don’t know why, I decided I had to get back in the game. Perhaps being stuck in the apartment was the kick that I needed.

I’ve been inflicting myself on the community for roughly two decades. Why stop now?

I’ve never strived for numbers. Heck, it’s not unusual to have days of hits in the single digits or days without any hits. So, obtaining notoriety is not the endgame.

The answer is ‘creating’ makes me whole.

So, around October, I asked a friend if he would retool my website. I then started reaching out to developers to obtain review products again. And I started inflicting my opinions on all of you.

Perhaps to your chagrin, in 2021, I’m trying to get all of my devices speaking to each other again. And then (with any luck) working.

I’ve also started writing and creating videos outside of the tech field again. Nothing tech-centric but utilizing tech all-the-same to accomplish my objectives.

As is customary, I promise that this will be the year I get my act in gear. At least that’s the plan before February.
